🌿During the month of September, we ran two exciting competitions as part of our Eco Programme. The first was a whole-class challenge to see which class could recycle the most used batteries ♻️. A big thank you to Erin and Aoife for organising this initiative and for collecting the batteries from each class—we are well on our way to filling the school’s battery recycling box!🪴
A huge congratulations to Primary Three for recycling the most batteries in September. They gathered an incredible 112 batteries.
🍃The second competition was an individual challenge open to all pupils, inviting each child to design a poster encouraging everyone to turn off 💡 lights in empty rooms. Congratulations to everyone who took part! The Eco Committee was incredibly impressed with the creativity and effort shown in all the entries.🌿
We look forward to displaying the winning posters throughout the school to help spread the important message of energy conservation.
