World Book Day 2026!📚

What an amazing day!!🥰

We had a truly wonderful day celebrating World Book Day 2026! The boys and girls were thrilled to come to school in their cosy pyjamas, ready to relax and enjoy a day filled with stories and imagination.💭

We began the morning with a book swap, where every child received a new book to take home. Our Primary 1&2 pupils enjoyed an extra special treat: the Primary 5 children joined them to help choose a book and read alongside them. All other classes had the opportunity to select a book from a wide range of authors and genres, making it an exciting experience for everyone.

A huge thank you to all our families for the fantastic book donations that made this event possible.

After break, each class welcomed a different teacher who visited to share a story—an activity that brought lots of excitement and curiosity!

To finish off the day, the children enjoyed watching a fun video featuring all staff members reading a book in unusual or interesting places. This helped promote the joy of reading and the message that you can enjoy a book anywhere.
