Today in Primary 2 we celebrated World Poetry Day by having a class recital of our foundation stage Spring poem. Lisa and myself were so impressed with the courage and confidence of the boys and girls getting up in front of their class to recite the poem they had learnt for homework this week.
For our Friday Literacy task the children worked really hard writing a Spring Acrostic poem. As a class we created a word bank of words beginning with the letters S P R I N G. The children then made their own poem.
