Young Recycling Heroes Recognised at Council’s Eco Speak and Eco Vision competitions!
Young Recycling Heroes Success 🟢♻️
Today, Mid Ulster Council held a Young Recycling Heroes competition for schools across the Mid Ulster area in Pomeroy Forest Park.
The competition focused on promoting the importance of recycling, sustainability and caring for our environment.
We were delighted to send two Eco Warriors to represent our school:
- Raina proudly took part in Eco Speak
- Jessica represented our school in Eco Vision
We are thrilled to announce that Jessica was the overall winner of the Eco Vision competition and received a wonderful award for her outstanding work. Even more exciting, Jessica’s winning and amazing design will be displayed on the side of bin lorries across the Mid Ulster area, sharing her powerful message with the wider community.
Raina’s speech at the competition was equally impressive. She spoke with great confidence, passion and knowledge about recycling and was awarded a certificate in recognition of her excellent contribution.
We are incredibly proud of both pupils and the success they achieved.
A big thank you to Mrs Harte for organising and supporting the pupils for the competition, and to the parents of Raina and Jessica for their encouragement and support on the day.
